End of a semester

 Wow, this semester has flown by. It feels like just yesterday it started and there was still snow on the ground. In the next few weeks, we will be in summer, and classes will be over, for some of us that is. Can't wait to see what summer has to offer!

Tariffs and our Economy

 I was talking to my boos at work today, wondering why we weren't getting any new shipments of supplies like tape. I work at Staples and tape is something we have to have on hand constantly for out shipping and Amazon return services. Lately we have been out of our usual Staples generic branded tape and have had to resort to the more expensive, but better Scotch which didn't bother us employees but would impact the inventory systems more than normal. My manager told me that the tariffs are already taking effect and is the reason for us missing some shipments. I didn't think that the effects would be felt so soon, I'm kind of scared to see what will happen when they take full effect.😕

Spring has Sprung

 This week looks promising with temperatures reaching 65 degrees. Looking forward to the sunshine we will be getting, not looking forward to the bugs that will come with it. Last week I saw a spider in my bathroom, spring is officially here and I am now scared to enter my bathroom. Outside I was attacked by a swarm of mosquitos on Monday, time to bring out the calamine lotion. Image Link
